The Albertans Advocating for Change Together (AACT) is a united Alberta network that learns about issues and advocates passionately for positive change in society.
The group is hosting six online events about the importance of self-advocacy for the disability community. The online seminars are going to be FANTASTIC and they are FREE! You can register to take part by Clicking HERE

“Join us to talk and learn about the importance of self-advocacy! Learn how to connect with groups that care about the same things as you. Meet the Advocate for Persons with Disabilities in Alberta, Tony Flores. He will talk about what the Office of the Disability Advocate does and how he supports Albertans with disabilities.
ASL interpretation and closed captioning will be available during this event.

This online event is part of a project funded through FCSS Calgary
Are you passionate about self advocacy? Do you live in rural Alberta and feel isolated and disconnected from your peers? AACT got money through FCSS at the City of Calgary to do a project to connect people in rural and remote parts of Alberta to the self-advocacy community. Free training and table will be provided.
